We have released the Ver.2.42.07 of Memory Switch Setting Utility for Windows.
1. Outline
We have released the Ver.2.42.07 of Memory Switch Setting Utility for Windows.
TM-T88IV Restick for Europe are supported newly.
The bug is eliminated. for the setting of TM-T88IV ReStick (utility's version: 2.42.04) had been released only for USA in this version. Refer to "Changed from the former version" in this sheet about that.
The previous version (2.42.04) released only for USA area had a wrong default setting of memory switch with the utility's function "initial setting". We modified the setting (ON/OFF) correctly as same as the default setting in factory shipping of memory switch in this version as following.
The default setting in 2.42.04 of MSW5-2, 5-3, 5-4 is "OFF". That is wrong setting.
The default setting in 2.42.07 of MSW5-2, 5-3, 5-4 is "ON". That is right setting.TMUSB device driver that is packaged in this utility is replaced from Ver.4.00b to Ver.4.00c.
Also this utility has following features.

* But, XON/XOFF handshaking is not supported. Please change handshaking of TM Printer to DTR/DSR handshaking when you use this utility.
* Specify Serial I/F when you use Bluetooth I/F. But, If you execute function of Firmware update, Backup and Restore, please specify the most faster baud-rate of the products.- LPT1
* On Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you cannot use LPT Port when other printer driver (Terminal Printer etc.) was mounted on same port. Please release port for this utility when you use this utility.- USB
* Installation of the USB driver is necessary when you use the USB I/F.
* Use USB driver which is included in OPOS ADK or APD. Use the USB driver which is included in this utility only if you don't use OPOS ADK and APD.
* You can use only one USB device at a time.- Ethernet
* Specify the IP Address which is set to the TM Printer.
* Specify Ethernet I/F when you use 802.11b Wireless LAN I/F.
